Accommodation, Recommended Fetes / Events for Carnival 2011

Many site visitors and subscribers have been asking about accommodation in T&T for the Carnival season. We can recommend to you Samise Villa which is a TDC approved B&B/Guest House within walking distance to the Queen's Park Savannah. Additionally, we have provided a link to Small Tourism Accommodation Owners of T&T.

Having also received questions relating to advice for the best events/ fetes to go to during the season.
We have selected and compiled a list for your guidance (the list is subject to additions).  Please remember all dates, times and venues are subject to confirmation.

• Beach House All-Inclusive Fete: Thursday 3rd March  – 2pm -8pm

• Salybia All Inclusive Fete: Thursday 3rd March  - Salybia Resort, Toco - 2pm

• Girl Power Fete: Friday 4th March - 9pm

• Break Biche Fete: Friday 4th March  - 2pm

• JUNIOR PARADE of the BANDS: Saturday 5th March - 9am (kiddies carnival)

• PANORAMA FINALS: Saturday 5th March  - 7pm (steel band competition finals)

• Insomnia Fete: Saturday 5th March - 11pm - 8am(approx)

• Dawn- Sunrise in the City Fete: Saturday 5th March :(please note although listed under Saturday - DAWN fete doesn't really get going until approximately 1am/2am Sunday morning)

• Sunny Side Up Breakfast Party Fete: Sunday 6th March , Palm Avenue West, Petit Valley – 4am

• Dancing In the Sanctuary All-Inclusive Fete: Sunday 6th March- Windsor Road, Valsayn – 2pm

• Brian Lara All-Inclusive Fete: Sunday 6th March  – Chancellor Hill, Queen’s Park West – 2pm

• DIMANCHE GRAS: Sunday 6th March  (calypso finals, king & queen of band costume finals)

• MONDAY NIGHT MAS: Monday 7th March  -St James & Woodbrook (8pm)

• Pan Trinbago Pan on the Road: Tuesday 8th March  – Victoria Square and Down town Port of Spain

• Pan Trinbago Las’ Lap: Tuesday 8th March -Western Main Rd, St James

The Fete Ticket availability list..

We have had requests asking for the following information, as a result, we've posted it again.

First - The SMALL PRINT: There is a small, and we mean small service fee attached to your booking, and we do require a deposit. Rest assured that this is safe, reliable and secure as we use the PAYPAL system and none of your bank details will be seen. Upon booking, collection location, contact numbers and other information will be sent to you. Please feel free to contact us or ask any questions.

In addition to the fetes, we are also able to provide a limited number of tickets to PANORAMA (steelband competitions)Semi finals and Finals and a very limited amount to DIMANCHE GRAS - these tickets MUST be paid for in full to be secured.


Once again THESE ARE NOT CONFIRMED PRICES....but an estimate to guide you in budgeting for your 'party spend'.

ALSO: please be aware that since the 2007 T&T Budget has indicated an increase in the cost of alcohol and tobacco from 1st January 2008, the actual fete prices may be a little higher than our indicated guides. We will strive to keep you updated with the latest fete prices as they are released.
